You drag every word after every sentence. "Chances are you already know thisssss..." for example. It makes your narration tough to listen to.

I say we're 50% of the way to having Godzilla vs Gorgo being an official thing with Gorgo in the public domain. Now we just gotta get Toho on board. And Toho's the big roadblock to all of this. Even if Carpenter did change his mind, and he still had a copy, I find it hard to believe that he would risk Toho's wrath doing it without their blessing and permission, as big a Godzilla fan that he is.

Imagine a world where non-avian dinosaurs survived but kept evolving to be more bird like to the point most cultures just look at them and say: “Oh yeah, the land birds. Some big birds on two legs, some on four.” Like all dinosaurs are land birds in the same way bats are flying rats.

Ironically enough, Gorgo is in the public domain (the comics the movie was based on, NOT the movie itself). So if people really wanted to, they could make an "official" Gorgo vs Godzilla movie.

I love John! 😊. My favorite is also the Thing. It would be crazy if he made Godzilla vs The Thing where all of Godzilla allies have been taken over by the Thing and for some reason Godzilla has an immunity to this virus. Also Macreedy after surviving the events of the first thing movie also has this immunity and so teams up with Godzilla like Nick in the Animated Godzilla series and go around the world to stop these Thing Kaiju.

I'm pretty certain the unmade Tartakovsky movie got turned into Walking With Dinosaurs 3D. The design of the young ceratopsian is spot on for Patchi and it was described as a "realistic dino film with no talking" that was "pushed to have narration over it".

Sometimes in a pdf it's just an image of the page and in that case the word search might not work.

Now i'm thinking:Can the humans marry dinosaurs in this universe?Or worse:Are there dinosaurs who work in brothels?💀

This reminds me of the “Legendary Giant Beast Wolfman vs. Godzilla” fan film. The film exists but can’t legally be shown or sold. You can find some footage of it online but not the full movie. Oh and Nicolas Cage took a picture of himself with the fan film’s poster. You can find that picture easily on Google.

fun fact: Gorgo is in the public domain thanks to the fact Charlton comics made an adaptation before the original film released and charlton went out of business. if toho were to approve carpenter's request and also find a unique workaround with gorgo that doesn't conflict with MGM.

john carpenter doesn't want you to see gorgo verses godzilla because there's a 10 hour long sex scene between gorgo and godzilla and the film is really about relationship issues presented hamfistedly through giant monsters. the guy was going through a lot at the time

An unlikely crossover, but a welcomed one by me. I can see the basic premise: After the events of 1962’s King Kong Vs Godzilla, the big G washes up somewhere in the British sea after being knocked out cold by the eighth wonder of the world. He wakes up and tries to find something to eat (you know how it is with the morning munchies). And what better snack is there than a young dinosaurian creature he finds swimming in the sea. He attempts to launch a surprise attack like a shark hunting a seal, but then something else appears. The mother, Gorgo. She roars at Godzilla who accepts her challenge, resulting in a battle between two reptilian giants from Japan and Britain.

ext mit deiner Kamera übersetzen Carnosaur 2 is probably the best known and most popular part of the whole series, in Germany alone it was often shown on television and became well known and popular when it was released on VHS in 1995, even though it didn't have a budget of millions, it was and is very popular outside of it the USA, through this film we in Europe really understood that there is also a part 1 and part 3 of Carnosaur! Carnosaur 2 is no Masterpice Like Jurassic Park,just a Aliens Rip off, But a film that was often shown in the 90s and 2000s by the big German TV channels and called it the little but great brother of Jurassic Park! Carnosaur 2 is probably more popular abroad than where it comes from, great little dinosaur film, I've loved it since I saw it as a little child when I watched my father's VHS at night :)

A year or so ago Carpenter was a host of a program or I believe he talked about his time as a fan of the franchise plus I think a showing of a couple Godzilla movies. But prior to that, there was a teaser of that with roars of Godzilla and Gorgo. Very on the nose to the people that knew of this and even thought this would be a thing.

It's kinda silly that he's so ashamed about stuff he did for fun as a child.
